However their codec is a hack of Apple's 720p60 codec and incompatible to the original 720p50 codec that was introduced with FCP 5.1. Image errors will occur when upgrading later to FCP 5.1 or FCS2, or when moving clips to such systems. I really recommend not using this pass-through codec. I'm waiting on FCS2 to hit the stores here in Australia but in the mean time i really need to get a job done with some footage i've already shot and i don't want to fork out for 5.1 only to have to upgrade in a few weeks. thanks.
